Winnie Mbabazi

Winnie joined the Program as Health Information Systems Analyst – Technical Writing, Documentation & Standards effective April 2022. She is a seasoned management information systems specialist with over six years’ experience in designing, analyzing, managing, implementing and documentation of health information systems.

Prior to joining the Program, Winnie was a Management Information Systems Specialist/ Database Administrator at Data Care (U) supporting USAID/SITES Project to implement and rollout of health information systems such as UgandaEMR, KP tracker, DHIS2 among others, support data analysis and ensure utilization of health information systems in partnership with regional IPs, district health teams and health facilities in thematic areas of HIV/AIDS, TB services, Maternal and Child Health services, family planning, malaria.

Winnie is a member of the UgandaEMR Community and a National Trainer of Trainers, she is also a member of the Project Management Institute Uganda Chapter.

Winnie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Makerere University, Post graduate diploma in project management from UMI and currently pursuing a Certification as a Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute.
