Dr. Simon Walusimbi

Simon is a Physician by training with more than 10 years’ experience as a Public Health Practitioner and Clinical Researcher in Tuberculosis and Chronic Lung diseases. He has contributed to the development of several National guidelines for TB and HIV since 2005 and has been at the fore-front of several national and regional-level HIV/AIDS intervention projects including scale-up of TB/HIV collaborative services, Routine HIV Testing and Counseling Services, and improved care and prevention of chronic lung diseases (Asthma and COPD).

Simon currently works as a Technical Advisor for the District Led HIV Programming (DLP) Project at the Makerere University Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Support Program (METS).
