Edward Bichetero

Edward is a computer scientist by training and a natural-born geek. He has 20 years of experience in software development; variously targeted at the desktop, web application, mobile messaging and smartphone spaces. He has developed and worked with management information systems for the past 12 years and 6 years specifically with health information systems.

Edward has been involved in HIS implementation, as a technical advisor, in Uganda, Namibia and Botswana; working with the respective health ministries and collaborating with multiple development partners in each country. During this time he has accumulated a wealth of experience in the design, piloting, implementation and rollout of health information systems.
