Background: The Ministry of Health (MoH) is championing the rollout of digital health systems to aid a paperless health care eco system. In order to equip health workers with the required skills and knowledge in health informatics, the MoH in collaboration with METS program has established a BUHIC training program to achieve this goal. The MoH has developed the training curriculum, training materials/presentations and training manual to guide the implementation of the BUHIC program.
There is an urgent need to start training health workers in ICT concepts and knowledge as digital health systems are being rolled out. In order to address this need, the MoH has planned to hold a training of trainers (ToT) in the week of 25th – 29th January 2020 to train the first bunch of trainers.
