Ausse Kalega
Ausse Kalega is a Health Informatics Specialist with a combined work experience of over eight years in the health sector and over ten years in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Prior to joining the Program, Ausse was a Health Informatics Specialist at the Uganda Health Informatics Association (UgHIA) and prior to that, an ICT and Data Officer at Children’s AIDS Fund Uganda (CAFU).
Ausse is also a member of; the UNBS Health Informatics Technical Committee, the Digital Health & Interoperability Working Group (DH&I WG), the Tableau Online Community, the HELINA Education Working Group, and the Uganda Health Informatics Association.
Ausse holds a master’s degree in Health Informatics and a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Makerere University – Kampala. He is a highly skilled computer user with but not limited to abilities like; data science, database management, systems development and management, computer network administration and management, graphics designing, and website designing and development.
