Mabel Nakawooya
Mabel joined the Program as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer effective 01 March 2022. She is a seasoned monitoring and evaluation specialist with 7 years’ experience in health systems strengthening, design, development and management of TB case based surveillance systems using DHIS2 tracker modules. Data analysis using various statistical softwares, capacity building monitoring and research in collaboration with local government, implementing partners and national level
Prior to joining the Program, Mabel was a monitoring and evaluation officer at Ministry of Health as a secondment from Baylor Uganda where she coordinated the development and design of the TB and Leprosy electronic case based surveillance system. She has also worked with World Vision Uganda and Management Sciences for Health under the TRACK TB project and Uganda Health Supply Chain project.
Mabel is a member of the Uganda Statistical society and Uganda Evaluation Association
Mabel holds a Bachelor of Quantitative Economics from Makerere University, Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics from Makerere University. She has attended several trainings over the years in various areas of monitoring and evaluation and DHIS2
