An increasing number of people living with HIV are accessing ART. Despite this increasing number, Uganda has often severely suffered from continuous lack of ARVs drugs. Health facilities are either completely out of stock, understocked or overstocked of ARV drugs. To efficiently monitor the stock status of the antiretroviral (ARVs) drugs, a functional real-time ARV stock status monitoring dashboard is required.

Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Support (METS) Program with support from CDC Uganda has developed an ARV stock status reporting system based on DHIS2 and utilizes the SMS platform for stock reporting. There will be two consecutive trainings in West Nile (Arua) and Western – Rwenzori Regions (Kabarole) districts on the said dashboard.
