With Support from PEPFAR, the Ministry of Health (MOH) is set to scale up cervical cancer screening and management to 640 sites across Uganda in a phased manner. The scale up plan is premised in the newly developed National Cervical Cancer Prevention and Control Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025 as well as the Implementation plan that details the cervical cancer prevention and management strategies that will be undertaken as part of the national response. To that effect, MOH has scheduled a 5-day Training of trainers (TOT) meeting aimed at creating a pool of central trainers who will support the regional trainings and roll out of the CxCa program at Health Facility levels (HFs).
