M&E program area plans to conduct a joint on-site mentorship and quality assessments at 60 CDC-supported VMMC sites. The sites include the newly identified sites in COP16 and those found with suboptimal quality VMMC services during the previous assessment conducted in January 2017. In collaboration with the supporting IPs and MoH, this activity is intended to; i) assess the quality of VMMC services offered at each site using the MOH Quality assessment tool, ii) identify VMMC service quality gaps and develop action plans for continuous quality improvement, iii) asses the adaptation of the new MoH VMMC- TT vaccination guidance, iv) VMMC data validation for the period January-March 2017.

A total of six teams have been formed to conduct the exercise. Each team will visit 10 sites over a 10 day period from June 5-17 2017. Each team is expected to visit, mentor and assess one VMMC site per day.
